Cricket is More Than Just a Sport
Cricket in our country has undergone a remarkable evolution—from a colonial pastime to the most celebrated and financially dominant sport in the nation. With the advent of major leagues, substantial media coverage, and corporate backing, cricket has become a multi-billion-dollar industry offering immense opportunities. However, its development has not been inclusive of all segments of society.
Many talented individuals from economically and socially backward communities remain underrepresented in professional cricket. Limited access to quality training facilities, lack of financial support, and systemic social barriers prevent these gifted players from showcasing their potential. This tournament seeks to highlight the disparity and drive structural reforms, ensuring that talent—not background—determines success in the sport.

Identify and uplift underprivileged cricketers from all 31 districts of Karnataka who have participated at the domestic level.
Trials & Access
Address limited access to trials, coaching, and sponsorship by providing adequate, transparent, and ample opportunities.
Notice Unnoticed Talent
Ensure that talented players from all 31 districts of Karnataka who were previously going unnoticed will be noticed and supported.
Elite Development
Provide professional exposure, training, and financial support, giving team owners options for certified coaches and management staff.

Match Format & Stadium Venues
After forming the 8 teams, matches will take place in a competitive round-robin format. Our vision is to elevate domestic players, showcase their talent, and deliver premium entertainment.
Weekend Clash & Prelims
Matches conducted on weekends. Prelims will be held at the stadium and other grounds in Mysuru.
The Grand Arena
The playoffs and final matches will be held at the prestigious M. in Bengaluru.

BREAKING BARRIERS IN INDIAN CRICKET
Indian Cricket history shows that historically only a few SC/ST talents across the country have received opportunities. Out of more than 500 players who represented India in Tests and ODIs, Scheduled Caste players account for around 1% of representation for a population that is 20% of India. We celebrate the few legends who broke caste barriers and inspired generations:
Palwankar Baloo
Left-arm Orthodox Spinner
A left-arm orthodox spinner and lower-order batsman who broke major caste barriers in early 20th-century Indian cricket. He is widely celebrated as the first Dalit cricketer to represent India on the international stage.
Vinod Kambli
International Left-handed Batsman
A former international cricketer who played for India as a left-handed middle-order batsman. Known for his explosive style, Kambli became the first cricketer to score a century in an ODI on his birthday.
B. Vijay Krishna
Karnataka Left-arm All-rounder
An Indian cricketer who played 80 first-class matches for Karnataka in a 15-year career. He scored over 2000 runs and took 194 wickets as a left-arm spinner and left-handed batsman.
